Auckland Fly Fishing Anglers Club and Women on the Fly NZ are cohosting a social fishing weekend in Turangi. Join us for a relaxed social fly fishing weekend for women with some experience on the water. We’ll kick things off on Friday night with pizza and a session from a local river expert, spend Saturday and Sunday morning out fishing, and come together for dinner on Saturday night. |

Tongariro Workshop '24
The 2024 WoTF NZ Workshop, hosted at the Tongariro and Lake Taupo Angling Club Inc. (TALTAC) in Turangi, welcomed a diverse group of beginners, novices, and intermediate anglers. Over two days 50+ women enjoyed great learning and excellent company.
South Canterbury - January '25
This event was organized by the South Canterbury Anglers Club with support from Women on the Fly NZ It aimed to introduce women to fly fishing and highlight the opportunities available through the South Canterbury Anglers Club. The event attracted 16 women from across Canterbury.
Rotorua Weekend Workshop, May 2025
This weekend workshop in Rotorua introduced 24 women to the basics of fly fishing, supported by Eastern Fish & Game and mentors from the Tauranga and Rotorua Anglers Clubs. Participants gained skills, confidence, and connections.
