About Women on The Fly NZ

Bronwyn Wilson, fly tying workshop

Women on The Fly NZ is a vibrant community dedicated to empowering women through the art of fly fishing. Since our founding in 2021, we’ve grown from a local group in Kapiti to a nationwide network, uniting women across New Zealand who share a passion for this rewarding sport.

Our mission is to improve women’s lives by enhancing physical and mental well-being through fly fishing. We’re committed to fostering a deep respect for New Zealand’s natural environment, believing that fly fishing offers a unique way to connect with nature, build confidence, and form lasting friendships.
